Wes Streeting

Wes Streeting is a young and ambitious politician who is the chief executive of Helena Kennedy Foundation, an educational charity. The foundation is instrumental in promoting higher education to students through mentoring, scholarships, bursaries and work placements. Streeting was responsible for complete management and leadership of the foundation and is an active member in all terms, as he takes the lead in fundraising activity and even the external affairs matter. Streeting also works for the higher education of students and guides them through work placements and bursaries. Wes Streeting studied from a Christian aided school, the Westminster City School in Victoria, located in the central London. This young personality is a graduate from the University of Cambridge.

Tom Bletsoe

On February 10, 2011 the residents of St Ives went on to elect the youngest town councilor Tom Bletsoe of United Kingdom, in the by-elections. Tom Bletsoe, just a school boy, juggled canvassing with homework, and has now has become the new independent member of St Ives South, Cambridgeshire. In this early age he possesses a dream of becoming the MP.

As of 2011, Tom Blestoe, at a mere age of 18 years, is the youngest politician in Britain. He stunned his opposition by winning the election by 41% of votes. He had registered himself as an independent candidate. This school student will serve the town residents for the remaining 14 months, occupying the seat which was vacated by Rosemary Paget-Crowe. He is the first 18 year old to win a seat without any support of the local constituency party.

Orla Tinsley

Orla Tinsley is a young and well known campaigner who works for the welfare of people suffering from Cystic Fibrosis, in Ireland. This cystic fibrosis campaigner found herself on the national television when she was opposing the government’s decision to delay the new building for CF unit, at the St Vincent’s Hospital, in Dublin. Tinsley also writes in journals and describes her love and affection towards drama and poetry which acts as a lifeline for her. This sweet little girl is fighting the expected and the unexpected from her birth. She was a premature baby who was born at just 31 weeks. She survived this, but the doctors diagnosed her with cystic fibrosis within few weeks.

Orla Tinsley, born on March 22 1987, works as journalist and campaigner from Newbridge. The Irish Times was the newspaper in Ireland that became the platform for her to begin her protest against government for cystic fibrosis patients, in the year 2005.
