About Me

            Since the summer of 2002, I have been the owner and operator of Baby-Bombers.com, a site offering independent coverage of Staten Island’s own professional baseball team.  What started as a hobby turned into a passion as it pointed me into the direction of a great career.  Now I will be allowing other people in the Staten Island area a chance to utilize my talents.

            My name is Robert M. Pimpsner; I am an 18 year old freelancer who is proud to call Staten Island home.  Also I currently attend St. John’s University-Staten Island, pursuing a degree in Sports Management and Business.  In high school I was the commanding officer of the Army JROTC as well as a member of the Virtual Enterprise program.  Both programs gave me the skills that I will now be sharing with the public.  I have won awards for best website design, navigation, user friendliness, writing, speaking and much more.  The highlight of my awards is coming eighth place in the international website design competition for the Virtual Enterprise program.

            My work has been featured in the 2007 Staten Island Yankees Yearbook, Gotham Baseball Magazine Baby-Bombers.com, and many more places.  I am proficient with all Microsoft programs as well as in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.  In addition to my graphics design skills I am experienced with organizing events such as dinners, dances, and award ceremonies.
