Kenny Barto

Alumni Photographer

Kenny is 18 years old and lives in Northern Connecticut. He spent 2007 photographing the Eastern League, New Britain and Connecticut being his home parks. He also made trips to Pawtucket and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to take in some AAA games, and saw many of the Yankees young talents, including Joba Chamberlain and Ian Kennedy. Kenny is a big fan of the Yankees, and attended for Alex Rodriguez's 500th home run game at Yankee Stadium. In the past, he has traveled to Baltimore and Toronto to see the Yankees play.

Matt Silvestro

Alumni Writer

Matt is 17 years old and a life long New York Yankees fan, in a few years from now he will be going to school to become a baseball broadcaster, he is originally from Staten Island, New York before moving to the south in the early 2000s. Despite not living in New York anymore he still watches the Yankees play on MLB TV and also has XM radio where he can also hear every Yankees ball game. Despite not returning to the Yankees in 2007 Bernie Williams is still his favorite player, his favorite moment of the 2007 season was when Alex Rodriguez hit a walk off homerun off of the Indians Joe Borowski on 4/19/07.
